Moraga, California is a small town located in Contra Costa County, in the San Francisco Bay Area. The area where Moraga is situated was originally inhabited by the indigenous Ohlone tribe. Spanish explorers arrived in the late 18th century and claimed the land as part of the Spanish Empire's colonization efforts.
