History
Bay Village, Ohio is a suburban city located in Cuyahoga County. Its history dates back to the early 19th century when it was originally inhabited by various Native American tribes, including the Wyandot and Ottawa.
The first known European settlers arrived in the area in the early 1800s. Among them was Richard L. Risley, who purchased land in what is now Bay Village in 1810.
