Tracyton, Washington

Tracyton is a small unincorporated community located in Kitsap County, Washington. Its history can be traced back to the late 19th century when the area was primarily inhabited by the Suquamish Native American tribe. The first European settlers arrived in the area in the 1880s and started a logging operation.

The community was named after William C. Tracy, who was the first postmaster of Tracyton in 1892. The town grew steadily thanks to its proximity to the naval shipyard in Bremerton.
