History
North Fond du Lac is a village located in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. The area where the village now stands was once inhabited by the Winnebago Native American tribe, who used the Fond du Lac area as a hunting and fishing ground.
The village was first settled by European immigrants in the mid-19th century. The first settler, Joseph T. Supple, arrived in the area in 1846. He opened a tavern and store, which attracted other settlers to the area. The village was originally known as "Supple's Corners" after Joseph Supple.
