History
Las Flores is an unincorporated community located in the southern part of Orange County, California. It is situated near the cities of Mission Viejo and Rancho Santa Margarita.
The area where Las Flores is currently situated was originally inhabited by Native American tribes, such as the Acjachemen people. Spanish explorers arrived in the region in the late 1700s, and the area became part of the vast landholding of the Mission San Juan Capistrano.
