The history of Jupiter Farms dates back to the early 20th century when the land was mainly used for agriculture and farming purposes.

In the 1920s, a man named Harry W. Carlin established the Carlin Dairy Farm, one of the largest dairy farms in the area at the time. The land was primarily used for cattle grazing and producing milk. The Carlin family continued to operate the dairy farm for several decades until it was eventually sold in the 1960s.

During the 1960s and 1970s, the land that would become Jupiter Farms saw an increase in development and population growth. Subdivisions started to be established, and people began building homes and businesses in the area. The community was officially incorporated as Jupiter Farms in 1969.
